What will your job look like

• Develop and maintain Azure Cloud based IOT solutions.
• Responsible for the continuous availability and reliability of the connected systems during high peak demand and large variability and growing number of connections.
• Ensure proper scalability of the entire systems backend.
• Achieve expert understanding of the end-to-end the architecture and ecosystem.
• Build and manage Azure cloud platform services (PaaS).
• Act as main contact point between DevOps teams in the US, Spain and other functions.
• Coordinate the work of DevOps colleagues.
• Plan for performance, uptime, disaster recovery, and capacity growth.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in working with IoT Connectivity Protocols like HTTPS/MQTT/Modbus/OPC UA PUB SUB/ IEC 61850 etc.
• 3+ years of work experience in working with IoT Platforms like Azure IoT Hub, AWS IoT Core, Bosch IoT Suite, THingworx Platform etc
• Years of experience as data engineer preferably from data science groups
• Good understanding of all aspects of the software development life cycle using Azure Cloud technology.
• Knowledgeable on the Microsoft platform and have built up technical mastery on the key technologies like C# & .NET.
•  Experienced in good coding practices, especially in cloud, mobile and web environments.
• Good understanding of general database concepts and technology.
• Experience with large, complex and highly scalable systems.
• DevOps tool experience (Visual Studio Team Services preferred).
• Programming and scripting experience, Process Automation (.Net, SQL).
• Continuous integration and delivery experience.
• Automated Testing (Unit, Integration, Functional).
• Cloud Development and Deployment (Azure PaaS preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills / debugging / data mining skills.
• Hosting and operations management and monitoring.
• Develop and test architecture for Automated data extraction/processing.
• Provide continuous connectivity to a master data source and access to refreshed data
• Ensure data quality and reliability
• Data expert for datasets used by data scientists
• Able to understand the basic requirements of data science methodologies to collaborate with data scientists
